Project Overview
The goal of this project is to design and develop a streamlined version of our existing solar calculator to provide users with a faster, more accessible, and user-friendly way to estimate the components needed for their solar mounting systems. The simplified calculator focuses on ease of use, reducing friction for users who may not need the full depth of our original tool.
Background:
The current solar calculator offers a comprehensive solution but can be overwhelming for first-time users or those seeking a quick estimate. Based on user feedback and heat mapping data, we identified a need for a lightweight alternative that delivers key insights without requiring extensive input or technical knowledge.

Design Library
To ensure consistency and scalability across the Simplified Solar Calculator, a dedicated design library has been developed. This system includes clearly defined components, iconography, typography, and color styles.




Wireframes
The wireframing phase began with low-fidelity layouts to establish structure, flow, and content hierarchy without visual distraction. These early explorations helped validate key interactions and user paths. High-fidelity wireframes then built on that foundation, incorporating visual design elements, brand styling, and real content to provide a more accurate preview of the final user experience.
